For our Russian and Belarusian dance friends who are against their regime and war in Ukraine – we are with you and you are welcome at Swing Paradise. We want you here. We know some of you are facing a difficult situation, but don’t hesitate – come and support Ukraine together with us.
It’s comfortable to consider politics outside of dancing but there is no place for fascists at our event. There is no place for fascists at any dance event.
Yes, we take sides – we stand with Ukraine. And yes, we expect you to take this side too.
Being russian doesn’t mean you are fascist. But being russian now doesn’t mean you’re not responsible for what is happening in Ukraine and your country. We know you ran away because you don’t agree what your country is doing, but you have to prove it by showing your support to Ukraine, show your actions against the oppressor.
