☞ CLASSES
Besides usual Balboa / Collegiate Shag / St. Louis Shag track classes, we have a new SWING TRACK. It will have two levels Curious Learner / Bold Expertand it will be focused on all three mentioned dances + Slow Balboa, Blues and Solo dancing. Six different classes! Pretty cool, isn’t it?
☞ FRIDAY WORKSHOP
Slow Dance/Blues workshop with Vicci Moore & Adamo Ciarallo on Friday before the party. It is additional open level 3-hour workshop to learn the basics and move progressively to practice advanced skills for the weekend.
☞ BANDS
Our local The Schwings Band, our beloved Lester’s Blues and surely a combination of both for Swing Paradise All Stars Big Band led by the one and only Steven Coombe and some guest surprise stars. We hope to prepare two sets of exciting big band music this time.
☞ EVENING ACTIVITIES
In no particular order: lectures, taster classes, dance battle trainings and THE Battle, Swinging Trinity M&M competition, secret chillout lounge, surprise afterparty? Let’s see how many hours a day brings.
☞ FUND
Thanks to you, our teachers and us, last year we donated €2621 to support Ukraine fighting against terrorist state russia. Unfortunately the war is not over. We stand with Ukraine and we expect you to take this side too. With that in mind we came up with SWING PARADISE FUND idea – 5% of all purchased tickets are collected to fund our support for Ukraine, free passes and discounts for Ukrainians and a-n-y-o-n-e who is in need for that. You can apply yourself or recommend someone else who can’t afford but definitely would come to Swing Paradise.
☞ EARLY BIRDS
After last edition, we can’t afford to make discounts and cover the event costs at the same time. This is your “early bird privilege” – to be informed about our plans first and be first to get your spot before we open public registration. We used to be a-sold-out event, we hope to make it happen again. After all, our competition, battle trainings and celebration cake are “for free” and when was the last time you experienced a proper swing big band while supporting a noble cause with your ticket??
