SWING PARADISE 2024, JUNE 6-9TH

So here we are back and we invite you to our next Vilnius Swing Dance & Music Festival – Swing Paradise 2024! The new date is June 6-9th, 2024 and our email subscribers can register before the official registration opens on January 17th.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM SWING PARADISE 2024

☞ TEACHERS

☞ CLASSES & WORKSHOPS

This year we have the usual – St. Louis Shag, Collegiate Shag, Balboa – track classes which already start on Friday afternoon and two additional theme workshops on Friday.

• Show/Choreography with Sandy & Martí – Open level but for couples only and will be happening on Friday 15:00-17:00 at What a Jazz dance studio
• Slow Balboa with Lucía & Javi – Open level (Zero to Hero) and will be happening on Friday 17:15-19:15 at What a Jazz dance studio

There will be an open Peabody dance class at the beginning of Saturday party and a History Talk/Lecture on Sunday.

☞ COMPETITION & THE BATTLE

This year we run again the Swinging Trinity Mix&Match competition which is free for all Full Pass and Party Pass holders. You will find a registration when you purchase a ticket and make sure you’re informed that the prelims are happening on Friday in the beginning of the party.

Our most famous and epic dance battle is happening on Sunday and this year we have teachers taking care of the trainings – there are 90min sessions on Saturday and Sunday to make it happen all together. You can register for it when you purchase a Full Pass or Party Pass ticket.

☞ BANDS & MUSICIANS

Our locals The Schwings Band, our beloved Lester’s Blues from Belgium and a combination of some international guests for Swing Paradise All Stars Big Band led by the one and only Steven Coombe. These cats will swing for you at the late night Jam Session on Friday and Saturday as well.

☞ SWING PARADISE FUND

Starting the year with gratitude to everyone who attended Swing Paradise last year.
Part of every ticket to Swing Paradise is collected to fund a noble action – supporting Ukraine, contributing to organisations working for a better and more open Jazz dance community and giving discounts to everyone who can’t afford our festival.

Thanks to every Swing Paradise participant, 5% of all purchased tickets were used to fund our support. And this year we have €2910 donated to support Ukraine, Collective Voices For Change organisation and personal discounts.
